Android system is the most popular OS for smartphones, tablets and other devices, so we can try to set it up on a PC. Today we will talk about possibility of installation our favorite Android operating system on a PC, laptop or netbook. In this article we will describe step-by-step instructions about how to install Android x86 on your computer.

Installation of Android on your PC is similar to the installation of Linux. Users usually install OS Android to a laptop, than to a PC. It`s all because of the old laptops, that do not support Windows 7-10.
1. Check is the UltraISO installed on your PC, if not, then download and install it.

4. Create a separate partition on the HDD or prepare a hard drive to install Android on your PC. Typically, netbooks and notebooks have one hard drive that is why we need to divide it into the sections. This can be done by using the program Acronis Disc Director Suite or pwhe8, for example, or go to the menu Administration hard drive (Start – Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Computer Management). In Computer Management, it is necessary to create a new partition at least 10 GB. Do not touch a system hard drive if you want to use OS Windows too. Simply share not system partition for a new Android x86.
5. After you create the space for the new operating system, reboot a PC and go to the BIOS. Select in the Boot menu Boot Device Priority and set in first line your burned disc (CD/DVD-ROM), or the installation media (USB-drive).
After loading the PC with CD/DVD-ROM or USB-drive, you need to select in the following dialog box the command «Installation – Install Android on Hard Disc».
In the next dialog box you are selecting the partition to install for installation Android x86. Available partitions will be displayed like sda1, sda2, sda3, etc. Choose the partition for new OS and click “OK”.
You need to change the file system type, or leave it without changes in the next dialog box. There are two recommended file systems to install Android on your PC – EXT2, EXT3 (NTFS file system is not supported at all, and FAT32 is not recommended).
In the next dialog box system will ask to install a special boot loader on Linux – GRUB. Android system simply will not be loaded on your PC without it. That`s why we choose “Yes” and press «Enter».
System must identify the previously installed operating system, (Windows or other) and requests to integrate the general boot for both operating systems. This option will allow you to choose the operating system when the computer is started. Select “Yes”.
After all manipulations, the installation process of Android x86 begins. When installation is complete, system will offer you to run Android x86 on your PC. Selected Android x86 will boot on your computer, laptop or netbook.
To use Android x86 you can install it in VirtualBox without all difficulties of full installation from the CD or USB-drive. You just need to download and open VirtualBox on your PC. There are some steps, which you need to do for Android x86 VirtualBox installation:
