Each program for Android has the technical requirements and a certain amount of RAM is always required to run it. In a moment you can ask: “why will my app not open?” If there’s not enough RAM, the application may not start simply and you cannot open app store because there may be no enough resources. The easiest solution to this problem is to close background applications and clear the required space in the RAM. We discussed how to do this in our article How to disable background applications.
Just do that to avoid the problem when you cannot open app store.
Application will not start – what are the solutions? Create a page file on your SD card using special applications such as ROEHSOFT SWAPit RAM EXPANDER. The application allocates space on the memory card and uses it to increase the volume of RAM. You need to understand that the speed of the RAM is higher than that of the memory card. Using the paging file, you can run the heavier applications or keep more apps in the background for multitasking, but it will affect the speed and stability of the device.
To enable the paging file, open the app ROEHSOFT SWAPit RAM EXPANDER and press “Activate swap”. Below you can choose the size of the swap file, exactly as much amount of additional RAM will be available. The maximum size of this file is 4000 Mb, this is a limitation of the system.
If the application worked properly first, but at some point, it stopped running or started closing by itself, it is most likely that an error occurred in the application itself that’s why application will not open. First of all, try to restart it. It is not enough just to close the application clicking “Home”, it will continue to run in the background. You need to go to the device settings, select “Applications”, click on the necessary one and close it. If application will not open, you either need to clear the cache and application data, or reinstall it.
Have you ever faced a problem of “application will not start” ? Let us know in the comments below how you solved this problem.
Android applications market is growing faster than ever. Such a rapid development has a downside – a great variety of devices and a huge number of developers from time to time leads to the fact that the applications are incompatible with some of the devices that means app will not open, though developers try to minimize such cases.
Also, there are other reasons why Android app does not open:
If you installed the application from the official Google Play Store, it means it has been tested and is suitable for your device. Otherwise, in place of “install” button, there will be a note that the application is not supported by your device and you’ll have the problem ‘my app will not open’, and you will not be able to download it. If you have downloaded the installer file apk and installed the application yourself, then there is no guarantee that the application is compatible with your device and can work correctly or app will not open at all.
